The Specialized Science High Schools in the New York City area are known nationwide for their stellar academic offerings. These schools are also known for their rigorous admissions test. The test required for being considered for admissions into Stuyvesant, Brooklyn Tech, S.I. Tech, and Bronx Science is very unique from other tests students have taken thus far in their academic careers.

SAT/PSAT

As with all of our services, we have tailored our SAT Program to address the areas that students find most challenging. Through research and hands-on experience, we have created a program that teaches and reinforces the skills necessary to complete the SAT. Not only do we provide our students with an adequate amount of practice exercises, we also educate them on effective test taking strategies. These strategies are crucial for success on the SAT. Aside from teaching vital skills and imparting effective strategies, an additional, and equally important, goal is to build each student’s confidence. It is imperative that students sit for the SAT feeling assured and comfortable.

ELA

The English Language Arts preparation course is available to students in grades 3 – 8.  This course reflects the content and testing structure on the New York State ELA exam.  This course prepares students for the exam through familiarizing them with the content of the exam and by improving their ELA skills.
