Brienza’s Academic Advantage has been providing preparation courses for high school entrance exams for sixteen years.  We have built a stellar reputation based on our success rate.  We attribute our 99% acceptance rate on the following: updating our curriculums each year, hiring only certified teachers who receive extensive training, covering all possible topics so that our students are fully prepared for any type of question they may see on the exam and teaching students test-taking techniques so that in addition to be familiar with the test’s content, they are also familiar with strategies of how to tackle the exam.

In addition to the course time, your child will sit for an additional 7 hours of testing.  The diagnostic exam mirrors the content and timing structure of the TACHS exam.  The diagnostic exam provides you, your child and your child’s TACHS course teachers with a comprehensive view of your child’s strengths and weaknesses which is then used to address the necessary topics during the course of the program. 

During the course of the program, your child will take a midterm and final exam.  You will be kept informed of your child’s performance through progress reports.  The final exam mirrors the content and timing structure of the TACHS exam so your child is again experiencing what it will be like to sit for the actual TACHS exam.
