Generally when parents begin to think about a SAT course, they think of the “BIG” companies. However, big does not always mean better. Brienza’s Academic Advantage’s SAT course has steadily grown in popularity due to the following factors: average of 100 to 300 point increase, small class size and individual attention.
The course begins with a four (4) hour diagnostic exam that mirrors the content and format of the SAT. The results of the exam will inform our teacher, your child and yourself of your child’s strengths and areas that need further development. During the course of the exam, there will be weekly quizzes as well as a midterm and final exam.
The course is taught by two teachers; one covers the English Language Arts sections, the other covers the math sections. With a test of this difficulty, it is absolutely necessary to have teachers who specialize in specific content areas to teach the course.
During the course, all topics and the variety of the style of questions will be covered. Additionally, students will be introduced to a variety of test taking techniques which are crucial when taking the SAT.
We will provide your child with an excellent program which will enable your child to reach his/her full potential when taking the SAT.
